November 23, 2020

In light of the recent spike in local and regional COVID-19 cases, we have made the difficult decision to again temporarily close the museum to the public.  We will reopen in the near future and look forward to seeing you again in person.

Beginning July 6, 2020 visitors can tour the museum by appointment only.  (Please call to schedule a date/time.)  Visitors will have one hour to tour the museum.  Deep cleaning of all surfaces will be done before another group is scheduled to tour.

Signs will be posted outside the museum entrance about COVID-19 and that wearing a face covering in the museum is mandatory.  If visitors do not have a face covering a mask will be provided for them at a minimal fee.

Hands-on activities of the corn grinding area, senses table, and homes game will be closed and marked off.

Extra stations with sanitizer, tissues, and disinfectant wipes will be set up throughout the museum.

Museum employees and visitors will be required to wear a mask in the museum.

A marked, one way path will be created for visitors to follow as they tour.

A plexiglass "sneeze guard" will be in place at the desk area.
